The name of the tournament is Egersund Open.

The tournament is held at Egersund Golfklubb on 13 April 2008 from 10:00 to 14:00.

Registration starts the 20 March 2008 at 00:00.
Registration deadline is on the 10 April 2008 at 23:59.

Tournament fee is 100 NOK per players.

The tournament is a individual tournament.

There will be played in 2 groups divided by gender.
  • The group with the name "A" is to men.
  • The group with the name "B" is to ladies.


The tournament is an open tournament.

Max. number of players are 48.

The tournament has a waiting list sorted after lowest handicap.

1st round will be played 13 April 2008.

There will be played on the course Maurholen golfpark.

There will be played strokeplay without handicap over 18 holes.

There will be played from different tees used for gender.
  • All ladies must be played from red tee.
  • All men must be played from white tee.


With a tied result the positions are decided after last 9, last 6, last 3 and last hole.

Tied 1st. place determined by sudden death playoff.

Competition Stableford Adjustment is used.

Påmelding skjer (helst) i golfbox eller ved epost til post@egersund-golfklubb.no.

Ved venteliste kan damer kvoteres inn foran menn.

Eventuelt playoff avgjøres på hull 1, deretter hull 1, 2, osv.

Turneringen spilles for øvrig etter golfreglene, lokale regler og NGF`s turneringsbestemmelser.

Det spilles om vandrepokal i begge klasser.

Vinnerne blir enige om hvilket veldedig formål den samlede startkontingent doneres til.

NB: Startkontingent må betales kontant, sørg for å ha med eksakt beløp!

Greenfee for gjestespillere er satt til kr. 150 for turneringen (kr. 75 for junior).
